As we traverse the road from Fes, we ascend through the majestic Middle Atlas Mountains, encountering the famed cedar forests, renowned for their historical and cultural significance. These ancient cedars have been esteemed since Phoenician and Roman times for their exceptional qualities in woodworking, aromatic essences, and the construction of venerable maritime vessels. 

 Our route meanders through Ifrane, often dubbed the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine charm, and Azrou, a quintessential Berber village steeped in traditional Zayan culture, nestled in the heart of the Middle Atlas. 

 Continuing our journey, we cross the breathtaking Ziz Valley, celebrated for its dramatic gorges, before arriving at Erfoud, a town that serves as the gateway to the Oriental Sahara. From Erfoud, we embark on a rugged desert trail leading to Merzouga. Upon arrival, we are greeted with the opportunity to experience a camel ride at sunset, followed by an overnight stay in a luxurious Berber tent nestled among the serene dunes. Here, a sumptuous dinner and an evening spent in our opulent desert camp await, promising an unforgettable sojourn under the stars.
