After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will dedicate the day to exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech. On your second day, dive deeper into its enchanting atmosphere. - Day 3: Marrakech >> Ait Ben Haddou >> Ouarzazate.
After a hearty breakfast in our riad, we’ll set out from Marrakech toward Ouarzazate, making a captivating stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou along the way. This ancient fortified village is renowned for its mesmerizing kasbahs and traditional mud-brick architecture, providing a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s rich history.
Continuing our journey, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, often dubbed the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, we’ll explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah and visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios, where many iconic movies and television shows have been filmed.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll settle in for the night in Ouarzazate, eagerly anticipating the treasures that await us on the next leg of our adventure.
- Day 4: Ouarzazate >> Todgha Gorges >> Merzouga Desert.
After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Ouarzazate and embark on our journey toward Merzouga, taking a breathtaking detour through the magnificent Todgha Gorges. Marvel at the towering cliffs and winding canyons as we make our way to our desert destination.
By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where an unforgettable desert experience awaits. Prepare for adventure as we embark on a camel trek into the Sahara Desert, witnessing the mesmerizing sunset that paints the dunes in golden hues.
Afterward, we’ll gather around a campfire for a traditional Berber dinner beneath the starlit sky, before retreating to our cozy desert camp for a peaceful night’s slumber amidst the enchanting sands of the Sahara.
- Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Midelt.
As the first light of dawn breaks over the Sahara Desert, we’ll rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise, painting the dunes in vibrant hues. After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Merzouga and embark on our journey toward Midelt.
Along the way, we’ll make memorable stops at Rissani and Erfoud. In Rissani, immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the traditional souks, where locals gather to trade a variety of goods. Next, in Erfoud, we’ll explore the renowned fossil workshops, where ancient treasures from millions of years ago are skillfully transformed into exquisite works of art.
Finally, we’ll continue our scenic drive to Midelt, where we’ll settle in for the night, allowing you to rest and recharge for the adventures that await you tomorrow.
- Day 6: Midelt >> Ifrane >> Azrou >> Agadir.
After enjoying breakfast in Midelt, we’ll set off on our journey toward Agadir. Along the way, we’ll pass through the charming town of Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” for its picturesque alpine-style architecture.
Our next stop will be in Azrou, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe Barbary macaque monkeys in the enchanting Cedar Forest.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll arrive in Agadir, where you can relax and unwind at your accommodation. Spend the evening reminiscing about the adventures of our trip, before settling in for a restful night in Agadir.
- Day 7: Agadir - Departure.
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore the charms of Agadir or simply relax on its stunning beaches, soaking in the coastal beauty. Transportation will be provided to the airport, concluding your memorable 7-day voyage from Agadir to Marrakech, which included an enchanting night spent in the Merzouga desert.
