- Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
On the first day, we depart from Marrakech and embark on a journey toward Ouarzazate, traversing the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains via the renowned Tizi n’Tichka pass, which rises to an elevation of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we’ll stop at the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a stunning backdrop for films such as *Gladiator* and *Kingdom of Heaven*.
After enjoying lunch and exploring this remarkable site, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate, taking a moment to capture the beauty of the Taourirt Kasbah. Our route follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, leading us through the charming Skoura and the picturesque Valley of Roses, ultimately culminating in an overnight stay in the serene Dades Valley.
- Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
Following a tranquil breakfast, we shall embark on a journey through the picturesque Dades Valley, ultimately arriving at the majestic Todra Gorges. Here, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll, allowing the grandeur of the landscape to envelop us.
Our path then leads us through the lush Jorf Palm Grove, renowned for producing some of Morocco’s finest dates. A brief stop in Erfoud, celebrated for its ancient fossils, will precede our arrival in Merzouga, where we will exchange modern transport for camels, embarking on an adventure into the sublime Erg Chebbi desert.
Under the vast desert sky, we will indulge in an authentic and unforgettable Moroccan feast at our secluded campsite, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
- Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tizi N'Tfrkhin - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
The day begins with an ethereal sunrise over the Erg Chebbi desert—an unforgettable moment that lingers long after the journey concludes. After breakfast at the camp, we set out on our final day, passing through the ancient Tafilalet Palm Grove and the historic town of Rissani, the cradle of the Alawi dynasty.Our path leads us across the rugged plateaus and rocky expanses of Alnif, before ascending the winding roads of the Anti-Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’tfarkhin.
The journey continues through the charming town of Tinghir and into the Dades Valley. By midday, we arrive at Kelaat M’Gouna, a picturesque village nestled in the heart of the Valley of Roses, where we pause for a delightful lunch and a moment of respite.
Refreshed, we resume our journey, traversing the High Atlas Mountains and making a final passage through the cinematic landscapes of Ouarzazate, before descending into the vibrant streets of Marrakech, where the allure of the city awaits.
